IID offers a variety of Public Programs benefits for our residential customers. These programs include rebates on ENERGY STAR® qualified appliances, energy efficient air conditioners, replacement windows, educational programs and the Quality AC Maintenance Program which offers discounted air conditioner diagnostic checks, duct testing/sealing and enhanced rebates on the early retirement of operational air conditioners and heat pumps.
These programs are an investment in our customer base. They are funded by the Public Benefits Charge, which is included on all customer electric bills. All of the Public Programs listed below are focused on energy efficiency and education. These benefits are long-term reaching far into our future.
